Ian King
B.V.Sc. [Syd]. Senior Veterinarian and
Practice Principal is committed to:-
Sensitive,
conscientious & caring companion animal
care
- we treat your pets as we would treat our
own.
Service
- Service is our No. 1 priority.
Affordable Pet
Care
- we charge fair prices which offer value for
money. We do not compete on price. Understandably,
to offer your pet the very best pet care we need to
constantly upgrade our equipment. Loyalty from our
large client base allows us to keep up with modern
technology.
Cleanliness
- a high standard of cleanliness is maintained
to minimize odours often found on veterinary
premises.
Friendly
staff
- staff are carefully chosen for their
expertise in public
relations,
knowledge,
animal handling and care.
Informed
Advice
- staff & veterinarians constantly increase
their levels of knowledge through a variety of
sources eg. Conferences, Seminars,
Visiting
Company Reps.
Post Graduate Study or reading the latest
veterinary publications.
Preventative
Health
- we stock the latest pet health care
products.
Kennels
- kennelling for dogs and cats is in stainless
steel cages (easy clean)
and for added
comfort, soft bedding. We are blessed with caring
clients who
sometimes add
to our collection of crochet blankets etc. Covered,
large external runs provide additional kennelling
for extra large dogs
Same day
routine surgery
- patient is returned to your care - pm. We
minimize
the
hospilisation of pets as we believe most pets enjoy
their home comforts just
as much as we
do.
Easy off
street parking
- and one wet weather undercover
park.
Ian and wife,
Gayle, purchased Ballina Veterinary Hospital in
1994 when the business was housed in a small
converted cottage located in Tamar Street.
Dedication and long hours quickly converted the
business to a team of 5. Increasingly, space became
a premium and a new site was sought.
Ballina
Veterinary Hospital today, arguably equals or
betters many metropolitan practices. It provides
country clients with a purpose built, modern, Class
"A" hospital providing the latest equipment and
facilities. It was the culmination of much
experience and research on Ian's part. An Architect
was employed to put the plan together and the
result is a very attractive, modern building,
painted in bright, fresh colours. It is
conveniently located (next to the Police Station)in
the main street of Ballina. The position is central
to Alstonville, South Ballina, West Ballina, East
Ballina, Lennox Head and rural areas of North
Ballina. Off-street car parking is easily accessed
from River Street and a choice of access to the
main entry door is provided via steps or ramp. The
ramp provides for wheelchair, pram, & scooter
access. Clients are welcome to pop in and view
merchandise products, nutrition products or check
their pet's weight.
